About

Started by a mother and son team, Lisa and KL, we began this radio station as a passion project during our homeschool days.  It started as tinkering with radio equipment and began to gain momentum with inspiration from local DJs and a desire to connect to our local community more deeply than just a few meetups or social media posts.  

Radio has a really phenomenal ability to provide companionship and connection even in the most isolating of circumstances and we want to be that place in the community where the light is always on. 

Our desire is to link arms with others in the community and make the road a little less lonely during the ins and outs of the daily life.  

We really want to be an platform where youth can feel at home to express themselves and explore media, communications, and tech where parents feel confident in our commitment to safety, authenticity and inclusivity in the content that we air. 

We don't want to be completely uncool, so we aim to play some up-to-date hits along with favorites from 80s, 90s and the 2000s.  We're working on a morning show that's fun, encouraging and appropriate for everyone in the car line dropoff, or around the breakfast table, with daytime programming to accompany parents through their tasks.  And, our afternoon show to
